RABU ( 20 JULY 2016)
Aku bertolak dari rumah pukul 5 pagi sebab kene check in pukul 6 pgi. So, we decided nak jalan2 pusing changi airport khabarnye “THE BEST” airport kn. Haha, sah takde kerja.Besar gak airport Singapore nih sbb dye terbahagi kpd 3 terminal. From 1 terminal to another, kne gne airbus. Jgn risau free. Eh tak, termasuk dalam airport tax. Then , kita org pegi kat kaunter tiket MRT untuk beli Day Pass SD 10 murah je. Deposit SD 10 gak. Klo nk balik deposit tuh, by the end of the day, kne pulangkan blik kad tuh. Singapore, don’t worry, public transport mantop tiptop!

10 : 00 am      : Jalan2 kt Victoria St. Pastu gi Bugis Street.
12 : 00 tghari  : Jalan2 kt lorong haji taib, Arab Street, pstu solat di Sultan Mosque.

Okeh, from Airport, we go to Victoria street via mrt and stop at Bugis Junction. Wow, kereta api bwh tanah dia bertingkat gak. Kt Victoria st ni aku syor klo brjalan ngn keluarga lah. Kalau nk jimat pegi beli dekat bugis street. Kat situ kitorang lawat gak tokong. Ancient temple which also one of the attractions kat situ. Pastu ke Lorong Haji Taib jalan kaki, hm tak jauh pun. Dalam 10 minit gitu. Kat sini bnyk kedai2 with old-style vibes. Kat Arab street ade hostel yg popular among backpackers. But, we are not staying there.
ALIVE MUSEUM

1 :30-3: 00       : Alive Museum
3 :30 –4: 30     : Singapore Flyer
4:30- 5:30       : Olympic Park, Jubilee Bridge,                Marina Bay Sands Shopping Complex.
5:30-7: 30         : Gardens By the bay
7:30 –8: 30      : Marina Bay Sand(Lobby je), Chinatown.
9:30- 11: 30     : departing home via bus, imigresen.
12: 00              : Check-in Citrus Hotel.

After penat shopping, it’s time for some photogenic session. Haha, pelikkn? org shopping last2, sightseeing dlu..then we moved from Bugis Junction to Promenade via MRT. Suntec City just wow, kt sini sesuai la klo nk buat window shopping. Between the buildings ada Fountain of wealth, besar gak. I am one of those who appreciate arts. That’s why my Indonesian friend came to an agreement nk visit Alive Museum. Fuh, penat posing. Lenguh kaki. To me worth it, bcoz my daily pass, SGD25 inclusive this place. Asal SGD25, disebabkn dapat promotion, dapat la SGD 15 + SGD10 visitor pass for mrt. After that, we walked to Singapore Flyer. Aku advice kalau nk naik ni kalua ada lebihan bajet. I am seriously regret bcoz bayar SGD 33 dpt naik dlm 20 minit gitu je. But the view, totally worth it. Asalnya nak pegi Singapore Zoo dgn harga yg sama, tapi, klo nk pegi zoo ambik masa sehari. So kitorang tukar plan, within one day, so more places we can go. Next venue, olympic park.
Kat sini takde apa sngt. Just a nice garden beside Stadium. Padang bola terapung, katanya. Jgn mudah tertipu mcm Masjid terapung, terapung la sngt. I bet msti ada underground structure. But, Singapore kn, who knows they had invented something. Again, we walked across the Jubilee Brdige ke Marina Bay Sand shopping complex. Uniknya Jubilee Bridge ni dye bentuk DNA ( aku rse architect ni minat sains tpi kne paksa ambik architecture, haha). Acrossing the Jubilee bridge, you can see the Singapore City as a whole, so splendid. B4 going to Garden by the Bay, kita org singgah window shopping kt Marina bay Shopping Complex.  Bajet pun tak mengizinkan, kita org teruskan perjalanan ke garden by the bay. Sini, free entrance but nak masuk exhibition tertentu kne bayar sikit. Garden by  Bay ni besar. We were damn tired so we bought trem ticket for 3usd for daily pass. What can I say, the combination between nature and technology just mesmerizing! Then we decided to jump into OCBc Skyway.  It is actually jambatan gantung kt tengah garden, so beautiful. Malangnya, hujan pulak! Ye lah kan, kita merancang, Allah menentukan. OCBC skyway tutup, so takleh naik. Nak tak nak, perut dah lapar bangettt, makanlah Texas Chicken. Harga usah diconvert, telan je lah.. bab halal haram jgn risau, kat sit ade letak label halal but of course not jakim. Jgn sempit pikiran kite dgn jakim je. Bila maghrib bru la dibenarkan naik skyway. Untuk harga, SD 8, affordable. Overall, exciting yet terrifying, coz aku ni gayat sikit kt tmpt tinggi. We were so lucky as when we up there, we managed to experience the Lights Performance, so beautiful.
from OCBC Skyway
Later that night, we moved to Chinatown! Tbh, this is the best place for shopping because you can get the cheapest price here compared to any other place in Singapore. Besides, you can feel the Chinese vibes here. Then, we took a bus, Causeway Link to Johor Bharu CIQ. Wow, sini lama sikit.
From 10:00- 11;30 mlm baru settle. Nasib my travel buddy nip on sakai gak. Actually kita orang tak  booking pon lagi. We took a gamble, alhamdullillah jumpa la hotel 3 bintang, Citrus Hotel. Betul2 sebelah JB City Square.

Citrus Hotel
KHAMIS ( 21 July 2016)
Tiket dalam pukul 11:15 ke Kuala Lumpur.
Kita org gerak dri hotel pukul 8:30 gitu then sarapan kt JB sentral. Bus Causeway link jugak from JB sentral to Senai Airport. Finally, safely arrived in Kuala Lumpur and that sum up our journey.

.Conclusion.

Penat tapi memuaskan. That’s all I can say, asal nak ikut pakej 1 day trip, tpi dah pertimbangkn segala aspek, mcm rugi je. Almaklumlah, jiwa masih muda, tenaga masih bnyk, Cuma kewangan tak mengizinkan.  On the other side, do we want to stay inside, waiting for money? Nope, that’s not me.

It’s good for you to go other country so that you can learn valuable lessons in  life and appreciate the beauty of  nature and the civilization of a place. Walaupun bnyk sikit wang dikeluarkn, to me it was worth the money coz I am free to go as many places I can go. Last but not least, shout out to my travelling partner, Thariq Suryanto as we dealt the craziness together. Looking forward next trip with you. Those who are reading this, thank you for your time and all I can advice you is to find a suitable travelling partner.

VVV 1.0 : RESULT

VURAK-VURAK VERISI 1.0
 THEME : RESULT

“ Apa Luqman, kamu nak jadi ustaz? Nanti nak makan apa ujang oi? Kamu tu result dah lawa.. 2A je…yang lain A+. Jadilah doctor,”
“ Kalau saya jadi ustaz bermakna saya takde rezeki?. Selama ni saya tengok  ustaz-ustaz kat sekolah saya semuanya sihat-sihat je. Takde pon kurus keding smpai terbang kena tiup angin. Bukannya orang lain. Yang kau ni pulak nak jadi apa Aidil?”
“Heheheheh…(Aidil tersengih)..Aku nak jadi lawyer. Itu pun ayah aku suruh sambung legasi dia. Aku rasa aku perlu check minat dan niat aku. Betul ke aku ini layak  jadi peguam? Barangkali minda aku ni terpengaruh dengan norma kominiti dengan tidak membuka pandangan terhadap kerjaya lain macam businessman ke, architect ke…  Terima kasih ye Luqman. Maaf jika persoalan aku membuatkan engkau tersinggung,”

……………..

“ Fariz, result SPM kau berapa?”
“ Alhamdulillah, setimpal dengan usaha aku. 8A 1B.  Aku cuma terkandas dalam Addmath. Kau  Faiz?”
“ Entahlah Fariz, kita senasib. Aku terkilan la sebab addmath ni subjek makanan aku  kot. Aku cuma cemburu terhadap Acap. Tengoklah, dia bukannya selalu belajar pon, solat sunat jarang sekali apatah lagi puasa sunat. Dia dahlah budak rokok. Kalau outing tak sah tak tengok wayang. Pastu banyak main, solat fardhu pun bukannya awal mana pun.
Kita ni, adakah kita  yakin perbuatan kita diterima Allah?”
Maka Faiz pon tersipu-sipu malu.

……………

“ Weh  Fauzan. MUET kau berapa?”
“ Alhamdulillah lepas untuk  aku sambung dentistry. Berkat usaha dan doa dari segala pihak, dapatlah Band 5 je. Kau Hakim?”
“Je?... Haish, meremang bulu roma aku. Syukur. Aku band 4. Tidak standing kau. Zan, nak tau tak..tak silap aku Danial tu band 3 je. Kemain cakap omputih bebelit lidah. Gigih betul belajar MUET. Tapi result, not as expected. Musykil betul aku,”
“ Hakim, sebelum aku sambung, satu je pesan aku, janganlah berfikiran macam masyarakat kita. Suka bebenor org kita judge org lain solely based on exam, fashion and  family background. Allah sebaik-baik perancangan. Ada sebab Allah bagi sesuatu kegagalan. Dan kegagalan itu tidak bersifat abadi.  Ada tu, Allah buka peluang untuk dia. Dan juga untuk kita. Cuma kita kena discover lah sendiri,”
“Daebak lah kau fauzan. Kalau kau mula berbicara, tergamam aku. Terima kasih la atas ingatan bersama. Saja nak tambah sikit. Segala kejayaan mahupun kegagalan, kita masih perlu muhasabah diri kita,”

BAHANA MUJTAHID @ FATWA SEGERA

Jikalau Aku ISMA, Sudikah Engkau Berkawan denganku?

"Kalau saya tak ikut usrah, so dah tak contact saya lagi ke lepas ni?" Diam. Kenapa Diam?.
Kita, An-Nisyan, kadang terlupa bila bersahabat kerana apa.
Sampah semata-mata.
Dan kadang, hubungan ini terlalu banyak rahsia. Entah apa yang disorokkan pun tak tahu. Tak paham, kalau boleh, semua benda tak mahu kita tahu. Seolah-olah kita hanyalah bayangan di hadapan mereka.  Dan perasaan apabila dibelakangkan sangtlah melukakan. Kadang-kadang kita terlupa. Terlupa yang hati ini milik Allah. Bila- bila masa sahaja Allah bolah membolak-balikkan hati kita terhadap sesuatu perkara.
……
Sang pendakwah A bersama visinya, menegakkan kembali system berkhalifah manakala Sang pendakwah B bersama visinya yakni memupuk ukhwah islamiah dan kehidupan berwasatiyah.
Pelik?. Jika diimbas kembali kisah sirah Rasulullah dimana  mengisahkan tentang kaum Muhajirin dan Ansar. Kaum Muhajirin menerima Islam secara terus drpd Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Manakala kaum Ansar menerima islam melalui perjuangan para sahabat sebelum Nabi berhijrah ke Madinah. Walaupun berbeza penerimaan, namun mereka tetap menerima antara satu sama lain. Ni simple sirah je kowt yg boleh ambil tauladan. Kemain bersengkang mata mengkaji sejarah islam. Tapi sayang, diabaikan pula kisah sedemikian.
……
Bila mahu menghadiri majlis bicara ilmu, semuanya diajak kecuali aku. Tidak mengapa. Bersangka baiklah yang aku mampu. Tempat Terhad.

P/S: when I mentioned “ISMA”, neither of the agenda is to promote them nor telling the world I’m part of them. None of the above. Hanyalah sekadar hiasan.

OVER THE SEAS OR JUST BY LAND.

The topic seems interesting right? It means, overseas or not. You choose whether you want to pursue your tertiary education overseas or locally.
Of course, our fellow Malaysian students had been dreaming since primary to study abroad. Some of us show zero interest to study overseas and have a strong belief in our local universities. A question tickles the mentality of our citizen is that, why must Overseas?
It is fun guys. Judging from the social media, we know that it is so wealthy, luxurious and joyful living in another country. Yeah, you got to experience many activities of a lifetime that didn’t have in Malaysia. You get to play with snow. You can choose to play snowboarding. You can travel to any places you dreamt for. You can befriend with international students and practices their languages besides sharing culture and events. You can live in four season countries. You can do whatever you want!. However, are you sure that students out there living their life to the fullest? Alternatively, just an act to cover the painful experiences or regretful decisions? Stop being typical homo sapiens who always being judging and prejudice towards other and learn to understand their real life situations on what they are suffering. In other words, grasp the meaning of “empathy”.
Hmm, To me, I  can assure that life as a student regardless where you are studying is challenging. All students have their visions. We were not born to be on the same path. Every single course in this world has it is own difficulties and challenges. Don’t compare a medic student with an engineering student. Our society should minimize the act of discouraging and degrading people on what they do. Our community loves to criticize the other achievement and start to degrading them. These are awful. Could you please stop finding other people weaknesses? They have their roles, and we play our part. That is how we achieve peacefulness in our society. Don’t be so “nose-up” on what you do. Try to stay low as you can.
Nowadays more and more student are eager to study abroad because they feel that studying abroad is better than studying local universities of our country. However, the students have their own where to study. They have owned reason to study locally or abroad. Both of universities, abroad or local have their uniqueness, as well as advantages and disadvantages. It depends on the students themselves on how they cope with it. Either face it or run away from it?.
where to go?

First of all, living far away from home, students will suffer from loneliness and homesickness. They spend less time with their family. Let us have a look on my calculation and observation. Since most overseas students were highly intelligent, at the age of 13 they need to go to boarding school until age 16-17.  During the break, while waiting for the result, some people choose to get some experiences of being employed either as a cashier, cleaner, promoter and so on. After passing the grueling interviews, they to have to further pre-u preparation locally; A-level, IB matriculation or foundation. If they achieved the requirements, they have to continue their tertiary education overseas as agreed .At the age 20, they already far away from their families. See, they only have about ten years spending time with their parents. After finishing their degree, they have to start their work. How time flies! We are busy growing up and forgetting our core responsibilities to our parents. When we realize, it is already late. Moreover, it’s for us to build a new empire, which is family! Overseas students often felt disoriented and depressed for lack of adequate knowledge and understanding of the local customs and lifestyle. They also exposed to culture shock and language barrier. Without proper guidance, some of the students lost in their ways and commit serious crimes such as pedophile, drug addict, and adultery. It is important for abroad students to find the right companions. I think language barriers is not a serious matter because eventually students themselves will able to blend with it.  Furthermore, many students do not want to return to their country after graduation because most of them want to seek a more comfortable life and brighter future overseas. Some students willing to pay all the debt to break the bond with the government and some sponsored students who are not having any deal to work in the country, they tend to choose to stay abroad instead of coming back home because they think they will get a higher salary. This may result in a serious brain-drain, and our country will inevitably incur an enormous loss of talents.
To this issues, some argued that abroad students have better quality than the local. Indeed, most sponsor will send the students to well-recognised and high-rank universities. Hence, it broadens the students’ horizon. For example, they get a chance to experience an entirely different culture. The knowledge of social customs acquired in the other countries helps them to become more open-minded. Experiencing new cultures, interacting with those with a background different from your own, seeing a different way of life, and experiencing the way other peoples do things is a positive, enhancing experience. It also encourages independence. It also enhances students soft-skills and communication skill that might help in the future. Within this respect, learning abroad can bolster up their confidence level, leadership-building and also equipping the student with the resourcefulness needed to be self-sufficient in a foreign country. Despite having a language barrier, it is the right time to master or at least, learning a foreign language.
Too many languages?
Also, they received a different education. The book resources are more up-to-date. The professors are aware of all the latest development in their fields. Therefore, the standard of teaching is much higher. However, before you study abroad, you must the check the standard and qualities of teachings there especially to self-sponsored students.
It is quite understandable that people from different backgrounds put different interpretations on the same issue. For my part, I stand in the latter opinion that while the overseas study has its drawbacks, the advantages are more obvious. However, different people have different opinions.

To local graduates, don’t ever feel downgraded and always compare with you friends who study overseas. All has His plans for you. Believe in Him.
To abroad students, you have to do your best in all aspects: Attitude, Education and Status. Don’t ever feel too arrogant and look other people as a low-class person. You have to remember, Allah had chosen you to represent your family and country to make our life better. Final remember, barber, carpenter, teacher, gardener and so on, they pay the taxes so that you can pursue your dreams. As a reward to them, don’t let the government spent worthless  finance to support you. You carry a huge burdened on your backs.

Good luck life. Goodluck in Hereafter. May Allah granted us with the highest achievement, ~HEAVEN~

DOT People Versus BIG Picture People

Does the title speak itself? I’m quite sure most of you didn’t get it in the beginning. Don’t worry, I’m going to explain briefly about it. Just take a deep breath…. Fuh~
Let us grab a pencil and simply draw a dot on a piece of white paper. What can see?.. Obviously just a dot right? Then try to elaborate that tiny dot. Let me explain in my terms.
First and foremost, I can say that dot people are those who afraid of challenges. They feel very safe in their comfort zone. They didn’t think any other initiative ways to make their life feel better. Secondly, this kind of person doesn’t look every hardship as a dead end. They didn’t take it as an opportunity or thinking of the solutions. They should have taken the chance to right the wrong instead of trying to ignore and just let the time passing by. In contrast, they take an opportunity on other people’s wrong without guiding them the right way. Other than that, Dot people love to look upon small matters and debating unnecessary issues. They also keen on discussing small mistakes as it should never be done. Remember, homo sapiens were not born to be a perfectionist.  Back to the definition, Dot people also like to mock and cynically think about those who are running towards their dreams. They are thinking as a pessimist, not an optimist.  Besides, they feel envious when looking other people achievements without giving any approbations. In a very simple word, Dot people are those who have “narrow-minded” development in their brains.

On the other side, instead of drawing a dot, try to expand your ideas by continuing your sketch and be a BIG PICTURE PEOPLE. Are you ready?

Big picture people are those who always look difficulties as opportunities and try their best to find the solutions. Also, Big picture people encourage other people who are facing failures in their life. They give motivations and provide alternative ways to deal with it. Big picture people care about the other and choose to not having a solitude life. Living in society is a must. These people rarely confined themselves and enjoyed life with the virtual world. Instead, they enjoy being part of the community and communicate with each other via the mouth, not WhatsApp or Telegram. Furthermore,  these type of people always put a target in daily life. Everyday must have something special. They are getting bored of the routine that keep circling in their life’s cycle.

Do the explanations enough? So, let’s have a look a few examples of Dot people behaviours that happen in our daily life. Can’t you see them?

Did you realise that most of our community have the mentality of judging a person based on the first impression? They simply accused them falsely and spread the words to the other. Eee, how discourage is that. When a couple of guys selfie together in one picture and those keyboard-warriors accused them to be GAY. Oh Gosh!. They haven’t met for a long time and they tried to share the happiness with the world. They wanted to expose to the world the sweetness in friendship. So, who cares? Only Dot people try to steal that happiness. When Dot people see burglar pleading for donation, they accused them to be double agent who works with illegal society or at worst, only a disguise to buy the sympathy. Could you please shut up? If you didn’t like them just ignore them but please don’t make up any story of that pathetic human. Who knows what really happened to her/him? If you look at the title of this blog, Dot people will think that I have a dirty mind because using the word ‘virgin’. Oh, Come on man! Wake up. Does this word exist to portray bad words all the time?. Does gay always mean homo-relationship? It can also be considered to describe of being happy. Besides, our people easily  fall trap in those lies from the mass media.  Without further investigation, they simply judge people without knowing the real situation or stories, or at worst, they just read the title and give their opinions on that matter. How dumb our people. Yeah, when asked to finished your education with flying colours, you give filthy excuses about your failure and didn't learnt from it.

Other than that, as mentioned before, Dot people feel uneasy with other persons achievement. When a person just started a job, dot people discourse them by saying the job is not suit you at all or not having high salary and they will not long lasting for the job. Again, who cares? At least, they are doing something in their life rather than wasting time with social medias. When dot people see other people graduates with a good career ahead, they simply told the graduates that their career are not in demand or their qualifications are not enough or disqualified. How can our society have positive minds? Because we are drowning in this kind poor mentality.
Last but not least, Dot people are those who are being too humble and always think negatively when other people are talking about themselves. Being humble is not the problem. The problem is that with unnecessary ‘humbleness’ in certain situations. For instance, when a person is praising how beautiful are you today or how nice is your attire, dot people didn't take that as motivations but they denied the words with shy face or at worst, accused them of being sarcastic. Some “ narrow-minded” Muslim think that human should not be praised. Does Islam prohibit approbation? Then why you do ‘selawat’ to our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w? Islam is beautiful. In psychology school, praising is important as a vitamin to our soul. It can be taken as self-motivation and increase your mood for the whole day. When a person is praising you, the easiest way to acknowledge them is by saying “ THANK YOU” and praise him/her back. Can we have a nice conversation for the whole day? Can we really have tranquility with each other in this world this kind of mentality?

In a nutshell, which side are you? DOT or BIG.
If you are DOT, don’t worry there is always space for you sketch your life. Remember, you are the one who hold the peacock feathers and the black ink is just beside you. You decide yourself.

Best wishes from me and have a lovely day.
